The annual NASCO get together in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  This year they plan to focus on Economic Justice and Solidarity Economy.  We were invited/suggested to come by Jim Jones of NASCO.

On March 29th Thursday, at the 7pm Waters School (near Montrose and the River) Beyond Today (a neighborhood organization) will be hosting the following presentation...a good chance to meet Mark Fick (of CCLF and Stone Soup Coop) if you won't be able to attend the meeting that we'll be having with him in early April (time and date yet to be determined):

This day-long event features more than 100 exhibitors representing all aspects of buying and leasing space, plus Neighborhoods Seeking Artists, and an array of workshops and seminars for organizations, and individuals. The Expo is targeted to performing artists, visual artists, small groups, homeowners and renters.
