Chicago's annual celebration of architecture and design kicks off Friday,
May 18 with a lecture entitled "Innovations in Social Housing: Art, Design
and Community."

They started a artist coop here in Chicago in the early 90's.  Their website seems a bit dated, but they seem like interesting people.
