We want to create and sustain a cooperative, innovative, and purposeful community founded on the values of individual participation, diversity, equity and excellence.

We aim to do this by:

• Providing healthy, safe, affordable housing for members and others when need arises. This will be a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and development, allowing individuals to pursue their own vision of a satisfying life.
  
  
• Being stewards of the environment, realizing that communal living and community sharing allows for a more efficient use of our resources. We must be aware of our role in and impact on natural cycles, creating sustainable systems thereby moderating consumption, eliminating waste and reducing dependence on finite resources.
  
  
• Cultivating a relationship with the greater community which focuses on community growth, encourages positive, sustainable living, and fosters the values of justice, integrity, transparency, and cooperation.

• Actively confronting issues of privilege including race, gender, class and age.

• Practicing active problem-solving, engaging in open communication, and maintaining personal and organizational flexibility, while striving for consensus.
